Our Summer 2014

Hailey asked me to take a picture.  She loves to be dramatic in front of the camera!

Carter really enjoyed target shooting this summer...

Emily and Violet came down for a quick visit to help take care of Papa.  Hailey and Violet hit it off.  Hailey loves to be a little "mommy" to little kids that are younger than her.  Violet just adores her, and Hailey knows it!

It wasn't really THAT complicated, BUT I did put it together by myself, so I had to document it!

Baby Girl is getting bigger!  I normally hate to take pictures of myself, but we knew that this would be our last baby and I knew I would regret it if I didn't take some pictures of me being pregnant.  I only took one or two with Carter and Hailey and wished I took more.

We were trying to make it look like the kids were coming out hahaha
I could totally photo shop it to work if I wanted to take the time!

I think this was the official first day of summer vacation.  The kids just wanted to have a couple friends over and play in the water.  This is Hailey and Carter with our neighbor Claire.

BIBLE CAMP
The kids did two different Bible Camps this year.  This one was at the Presbyterian Church and the theme was with exotic animals.  They had a ton of fun.  This was the last day where they did a fun song for the parents. Hailey is in the long maxi dress with her arms up! Lots of work went into teaching these kids and making it fun learning about the Bible.  I am so appreciative of all the people that work so hard every year for these kids!

Carter pretending to be some sort of bird!

The other Bible Camp they did was at Willow Park.  I didn't get any pictures of that one, but it was equally as fun!

CITY OF ROCKS
We went to City of Rocks in Idaho with the Nettleton Family and Walsh Family.  We have never been there before and will definitely be back!  There's lots of fun places to stop, and, of course climb rocks!  The kids had a blast!
They were tormenting a little squirrel that was trying his best to hide in a little crevice.

 Eating lunch...

 Carter caught a little lizard!

Visit From Cousins
Russ and Emily moved from California to New Jersey over the summer.  They stopped for a day on their way through for a quick visit.

FATHER'S DAY

I couldn't ask for a better dad for my kids.  They are constantly joking and playing with him.  I'm so glad God put him in my life and that we have been blessed to have a beautiful family together.  I feel like we have grown so much together, and I am a better person because of him.

  DINOSAUR PARK
We went to the dinosaur park with my friend Jessica, her two girls, and Carters friend Zac.  Carter usually hates getting his picture taken, but this day, he was ALL about posing with EVERY SINGLE dinosaur!  It was pretty cute!

Emma(in the stroller), Zac, Carter, Hailey, and Abby

This was a fun day, but I do remember the following week was horrible! A couple days before we went to the dinosaur park, Carter and Hailey were sick with what I thought was a 24 hour flu bug.  Little did I know that they were carrying the Hand Foot and Mouth Virus.  They passed it on to poor little Emma, and she was miserable for several days.  Then I got it.  Usually adults don't really show the symptoms but might be carriers of it.  Well, I think being pregant and my immunity being compromised, I got it much worse than my kids.  They really didn't get any blisters.  Hailey had a couple red marks on her feet, but they didn't bug her.  I had blisters all over my hands and feet and it hurt so bad to walk, and I just remember them burning!  It was horrible!

FOURTH OF JULY
Waiting for the Lewiston parade to start.  As you can tell, it was a bright sun shiny day!
This was at like 8 a.m. and we were already sweating!

 Ready to get some candy!

Gotta check out the candy haul...

This year a realitor friend of Bryans asked him to do a booth with her.  It was fun to talk to the locals and answer questions about the home buying process. We brought a ton of otter pops, and the kids had fun passing them to everyone walking by the booth.

Hailey handing out otter pops.  She even tried running up to strollers and handing them to little infants.  We got some pretty funny looks :)

The firefighters were helping everyone cool off!
Bryan and Carter are in there getting dowsed with water...

Had to try some cotton candy...

My parents came after the parade and hung out at the booth with us for a bit.  Then they took me and the kids back home while Bryan finished up at the booth.

Bryan, My Dad, and Carter heading to the store in Big Blaze...

My brother Glen headed up with his family to spend the rest of the day with us.  They had a blast shooting bb guns!

Hailey and Meili showing their tricks to Grandma on the trampoline...

LAGOON DAY
We enjoyed another year at Lagoon with our Alpine Church Family!  The weather was gorgeous and not too hot, which I was appreciative of!

Obviously I couldn't ride much, but I had fun watching the kids!

 With the Gonzalez kids...

Riding a new ride with the Walsh kids.  Carter got soaking wet and was freezing after this ride!  Hailey would have gone on all the rides if she could have, but she wasn't quite tall enough for the bigger rides.  Hopefully next year!

24th of July
My Mom, Me, Eryn, and Cami and Glen took the kids down to Salt Lake one day to see the floats that would be in the Pioneer Parade for the 24th.  There were so many creative and fun floats!  This was Hailey's favorite, obviously because it's pink!

Nic, Kai, Meili, Izzy, Hailye, Dax, Livy and Carter (missing Ty)

LARSEN FAMILY REUNION IN PARK CITY
This year for the Larsen Family Reunion we stayed in Park City.

The first evening we were there, most the kids went and played some basketball.  We don't play many sports at our house, or watch them on t.v.  I have noticed though that Hailey seems to do really well with baseball and basketball.  I should probably actually get her on a team!  She was shootin' hoops like a pro!

Always gotta get some pool time in...
Bryan, Kai and Carter

Eryn was working on getting her CNA license and needed to take several peoples blood pressure.  She was able to knock a bunch of them out!

We stayed for two nights and then on the way home stopped at a park.

Aunt Cami playing with Hailey...

Hahaha Carter got stuck in the swing!  Good thing Uncle Glen was nice enough to help him out, I was too busy laughing!

We played a couple games and some Frisbee then headed home...
