Memorial Day Weekend

We had such a fun Memorial Day Weekend! My brother, his girlfriend and her kids came up on Friday night for a BBQ. We let the kids do the zip line, and they had a blast. It was fun watching them go on it over and over again!
I ran my first 5K ever this weekend. I have always HATED to run, but I wanted to try a 5K and it wasn't too bad. My goal time was 30 minutes and I got it in 29! I want to do a few more this summer and hopefully I can get a little faster each time! The above picture is my brothers girlfriend Jill, her friend Stephanie, and I.
I have the best hubbie in the world who got up early to come and support me!
After our run we went to breakfast then back to my parents house for a BBQ with the family, then went up to the church lawn and played a little baseball.

While Daddy's Away.....

We Will Play!

Bryan went Canyoneering last weekend with his buddies, so we went to play with Grandma and Grandpa for the weekend. On Saturday we went to Boondocks in Kaysville. Carter said his favorite things of the day were the Race Car Driving, and the Candy Jackpot! The Candy Jackpot was one of those games that has the little grabber, and you try to grab candy. Fortunately for Carter, the door got stuck where you grab your candy out, so we grabbed an employee to get us our candy. Well, several people before us just left their candy since the door was stuck, so Carter got it all. He was so excited! Oh, the little things that make them happy!

Random

I just thought I would post these for fun. Hailey loves to wear her shades every time we get into the car.

I love how Hailey is holding onto Carter in this picture. I have the cutest kids ever!

My brother blessed his sweet baby Alivya yesterday so we went over for the luncheon afterwards. Isn't it crazy how you can stare at those little ones forever! So adorable and precious! Of course Hailey was in on the action, and my brother Bryan, his girlfriend Jill, and her daughter Brianna.

SpRinG Treasure Hunt

I thought it would be fun to do a little "Spring" Treasure Hunt for the kids outside. I sent them about 20 different places around the yard finding clues to get to the treasure.

Don't you love Carter's outfit. Winter boots in May!

Hailey doesn't look so thrilled here, but she was laughing and giggling trying to keep up with Carter.

The "Treasure"
Carter needed a soccer ball, so I got him that and then some sand toys and water toys.
Trying out all the new loot!
