Father's Day

I am so blessed with wonderful father's in my life. My dad who has always been there for my brothers and I no matter what we are doing, big or small. My dad and father-in-law both adore our kids and we couldn't ask for better grandpa's for our kids! And last my fun fun husband who is the best daddy ever! My favorite thing in the world is to hear Bryan being silly while playing with the kids and hearing them giggle and giggle. He makes their lives so fun and I don't know what I would do without him!

For my gifts to Bryan this year I thought of some things that I have "owed" him for quite awhile. A few years ago I found this Plastic Thumb thing in Bryans junk drawer in his dresser. I didn't realize what it was and threw it away. BIG MISTAKE! He was really upset with me because it was his "magic thumb" and his dad had given it to him a long time ago. OOPS! So many years later, I finally remembered to look online and order him a new one. Here he is, showing the kids his magic trick. I also got him a broom for sweeping the driveway. When we first got married I ran ours over and broke off the top of the handle. The poor guy has been using the broken broom since then, and killing his back in the process because the handle was too short!

Carter helped me make breakfast for Bryan in the morning and made sure that Daddy felt loved. He's such a sweetheart. All morning long he was saying "This is the best day ever" and " This is my favorite holiday!" What a cutie!

Later in the day we took Bryans dad out for lunch, then later went to my parents house for dinner.
Thanks Dads for being Great!

Saturday Fun

I ran another 5K this week. I got 1 minute faster on my time which surprised me because the course was a lot hillier. Bryan was a bad picture taker this time, I am the little ant way back there!

After my morning run we went up Providence Canyon with my brother, Jill and Breanna. I love the waterfall up there. Its covered in moss and just beautiful.

After our little hike we went to lunch at Texas Roadhouse, then off to Providence Days to let the kids play some games and ride some rides!

The Dino Museum

I had Carter write down 5 things that he wanted to do this summer. The first on his list was to visit the Dinosaur Museum. I took him to the one at Thanksgiving Point and met up with my friend Amy and her cute kiddos.

All the kiddos getting their wiggles out! Jacob, Hailey, Emily and Carter
My friends little boy Jacob was so cute. At first he was afraid to go inside, but after awhile he warmed up, and they all had so much fun. Thanks Amy for meeting up with us!
