Thanksgiving 2011

This year for Thanksgiving we headed up a day earlier so I could take a few pics of my brothers kids, and his nephew. The kids were NOT in the mood for picture taking, so we didn't get as many as I hoped for, but here are a few of my favorites.

After pictures we ate dinner with Scott and Eryns family and then headed to my Mom and Dads to spend the night.

It was a smaller group this year for dinner. Just Us, Scott's family and Mom and Dad. Bryan was in Disneyland with his family, and Glen was at his in-laws, but they came later for dessert.

I asked Eryn to take a few pics of our family because I didn't get one this year like I hoped. The days we had scheduled we kept getting bad weather. Again, the kids were NOT in the mood for pictures! We didn't get a single one that both the kids were smiling, so here's a couple of close ones! Thanks Eryn for taking these! She did good considering she's never used a DSLR camera!

After eating Thanksgiving dinner I took some fun pictures of everyone. (Well at least the ones that were willing! Nic wanted nothing to do with it!) My Mom, Dad, and I made these cute little props to use for our photoshoot.

I hope everyone else had a Happy Thanksgiving! I have a lot to be thankful for, as always. Most of all I'm so thankful for my family and friends. I don't know where I would be without them, they're the best.

Bryan's First Catch (other than me of course, ha ha!)

Bryan's friend Josh FINALLY talked him into going Pheasant Hunting on Monday. Of course he was a natural and got 6 of them! Luckily a friend of his is going to clean and smoke them cause there was no way I was gonna touch them :)

Halloween Festivities

Luckily Grammy came over on Sunday and helped the kids carve their pumpkins! I have been avoiding it, it's one of my least favorite things to do! I always make Bryan help them with it. Carter carved two pumpkins all by himself this year!

Grammy "helped" Hailey do a Witch pumpkin. Hailey was interested for all of two minutes, so Grammy did most of it! Hailey of course came back when Grammy was done for a cute picture!




Trick or Treating

Hailey was Sleeping Beauty and Carter was a soldier for the second year in a row.

Our cute neighbor hid in a garbage can and scared the kids as they came by. The funny thing is that Carter knew he was in there, but he still jumped when Jake popped up!

Carter had to check to see what he got. What works better that sticking your whole head in the bag?!!!!

It was fun to watch Hailey this year because she finally understood what trick-or-treating was all about! People would answer the door and tell her how pretty she looked, and she would twirl and bat her eyes! She totally ate up all the attention, as always!
