Hailey's 6th Birthday!

Honestly both of my kids' birthday's this year are a blur because I wasn't feeling well.  We opted out of friend parties since I was struggling to keep up with just simple things.  Grammy and Papa came over for dinner the weekend before Hailey's birthday if I remember right.  Grammy gave Hailey several fun outfits!

She brought a Banana Cream Pie (one of Bryans favorites).  I love how Bryan and Hailey's birthdays are only 3 days apart and I love to capture a picture of them blowing out candles together every year :)

The morning of Hailey's birthday there was a BIG surprise downstairs waiting for her.  This is the Barbie House that my Dad made for me when I was Hailey's age.  I have saved this in storage in hopes of one day giving it to my little girl.  It was looking a little outdated, so my parents and I vamped it up a little with new carpet, fresh paint, and wallpaper.  I need to get a better picture of it, sorry!  Anyways, I was excited to give it to her, and of course, she loves it!  Carter decorated it with the balloons the night before, and wrapped his gift and hid it in one of the Barbie beds.

Hailey found her present from Carter, a diary...

We don't get donuts very often, so Hailey picked donuts for her birthday breakfast.  That seems to be a tradition now :)  Great idea to fill the kids up with sugar before school right ;)

Celebrating with my side of the family....

Izzy and Hailey have birthdays close together.  I made this cake for them to share....
This is out of order, this was a couple days after Hailey's birthday :/

This is the outfit Hailey picked out for her big day.. an outfit Grammy gave her!

And she wanted a Bun in her hair, and she told me I had to take a picture!

Hailey had afternoon Kindergarten, so after we sent Carter off to school, we made cupcakes to take to her classroom to share...
she loves to help me in the kitchen so of course she had to help!
Happy Big 6 Baby Girl!!!

Disney On Ice

Grandma, Hailey, and I went to Disney On Ice in March!
Grandma and Hailey...

 Mama and Hailey...

Grandma spent an arm and a leg on a snowcone for Hailey...
Luckily it had a reusable cup and she uses it daily!

It was fun to see all the cool special effects during the show, and Hailey loved seeing all her favorite princesses!

Carter's 10th Birthday

The weekend before Carter's 10th Birthday, we met up with my side of the family at Classic Skating!
Here's Bryan and Hailey skating and skootering...

They had all sorts of fun races, here's the boys' race.  Carter is the 5th from the left in the black shirt...

We conned Bryan into doing the adult race....I believe he got 2nd place.....and yes, he got beat by a GIRL!!!

After skating, bouncing, and pizza, we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for some birthday donuts....

On the morning of Carter's Birthday...more donuts!

He opened a few presents and then headed to school for a few hours..

We pulled Carter out of school early, went and got his friend Zack and headed to Boondocks in Kaysville!  Dad took the boys where they enjoyed unlimited lazer tag, video games, mini golf, and go-carts!

After Boondocks I went and grabbed some pizzas and we took them to Grammy's house to celebrate with Grammy and Papa.  I can't believe I have been a mama for a decade now!  I'm so glad God entrusted me with this amazing, creative, sensitive soul.  Happy Birthday Carter, we love you!

Drag Racing Trip 2014

In February Bryan and Carter took a trip with Bryan's dad out to California to see the Pomona Drag Races.  They were able to meet Bryan's brother Russ and his son Jack out there, so they got a fun Mens weekend!  I sent Bryan with my camera, and told him to get lots of pictures with everybody......this is what I got.....yep that's about it!  He had one picture of all the boys, but it was really dark, and I wasn't able to salvage it.  I think he needs lessons on picture taking, I was really bummed that he didn't get more pictures!

Princess Party 2014

The last couple years the Family Support Center has held a "Princess Party" for a fundraiser.  Hailey was really looking forward to going again!

There are several princesses there to meet and sign their autographs...

The Tuellers joined us again this year!
Chayce, Hailey, and Paige

There are also several fun crafts...

 And a "light tea"...

Hailey had fun, and we look forward to bringing our new little princess along with us next year!

These next two pictures have nothing to do with the princess party but I threw them in!  Grammy made a mirror for Hailey's room this past Christmas, and she loves it so much, that I have threatened to take it away because it keeps her from staying on task sometimes!  When she is supposed to be cleaning her room or some other task, I find her making faces and dancing in front of her mirror!  There was one night that Hailey was supposed to be getting ready for bed, and Bryan and I heard her what sounded like crying......we went in and discovered that really she wasn't crying for real, but being dramatic in front of her mirror and watching her facial expressions with different emotions!  Silly girl!

I must say, I think she is pretty adorable!
