Spring Break Fun!

Rachel, Carter, Hailey and Jayden

We had a fun, laid back Spring Break this year. The weather was not so good so we were forced to find things to do indoors. They got a whole week out this year because of school budget cuts. By the end of the week I was ready to send Carter back to school though! Carter and Hailey would fight some days from the minute they woke up until they went to bed! Most the time they do pretty good together, but I think they were both sick of being cooped up! Our neighbor had his daughter and two granddaughters staying with him for a few days, Rachel and Jayden. They are the same age as Carter and Hailey although you can't tell because they tower over them! They played for like three days and had a blast. Not one fight, they just played so well together! They came over the last day and brought some goodies for the kids and I. I thought that was so thoughtful and sweet! We were sad to see them leave.

We met up with my friend Amy and her cute kids one day. We took them to Boondocks to let them get their wiggles out! They had fun piling onto the hammock! After Boondocks we headed over to my parents house for some lunch. Amy moved into my neighborhood in 7th grade and we were great friends from the get-go. I remember lots of fun silly sleepovers where we would giggle all night. Oh, to be young and carefree again! It is always fun to meet up with old friends to catch up!

Another day we met up with Aunt Cami, Uncle Glen, their kids and Grandma and Grandpa to go to a "Rock Show". I figured Carter would get a kick out of it, and he did! Here they are checking out the cool walking dinosaur man!

Watch out Carter! Your about to get eaten!

After the rock show we went back to my parents where I met up with Bryan. Grandma and Grandpa graciously took our kiddos for the night so that Bryan and I could getaway. We went out to dinner at Elements, which was really good and then headed to the Anniversary Inn. The next day we did a little shopping and then headed back for the kids. It was nice to get away for a little bit!
