The Fair

On Saturday we went to the Cache County Fair with Bryans parents and our friends Tim, Rouetta, and Maya. Carter and Maya had fun going on all the rides, and Hailey was happy being outside, heat and all!Carter riding a pony. He was much more comfortable on the pony this year, unlike last year.

After the fair we came back to the house to BBQ and make Homemade Raspberry Ice Cream. Carter and Maya had fun helping. They didn't understand why it took so long though!

I wanted to get the kiddos picture taken together, so this is how they turned out. Luckily the girls at the Target studio let us take them twice since Hailey decided she was tired and screamed the whole time! They turned out much better the second time. I love watching Carter interact with Hailey. He is always giving her kisses and hugs and is so patient with her. If anyone is admiring her too much, he makes sure they know that she is HIS sister, not theirs! I feel so blessed to have them in my life!

She's Asleep!!!!!

So I have to share my excitement! I have had a hard time getting Hailey to sleep in her own crib. I am definitely a softie and have a hard time letting her "cry it out". I was bound and determined to get her to nap in her crib today. She must have known because I swaddled her up, sang her a song, and laid her down. I closed the door and figured I better go downstairs so that I wouldn't hear her cry and give in. About 5 minutes later, I go up to check on her, and guess what.....She's sleeping!!!!! This is a big milestone in my book!

Sweet Hailey

Our Sweet Little Hailey is 4 Months Old! Her sweet smiles brighten our day and we love her so much!

Our Puerto Rico Trip

We had a chance to go to Puerto Rico to visit Bryans brother, his wife, and our nephew Jack. There house it right on the coast. Can't complain about waking up to the ocean every morning! On the 4th of July there was a carnival on the Coast Guard Base. There were a bunch of rides and games for the kids. Carter was instistent on riding the Mechanical Bull. You could tell the whole ride he was scared to death, but he held on the whole time!

This ride Carter had to wait patiently while they blew up the ball with air, and then he had to run in the ball and knock down the pins at the end. Carter had a blast!

Carter caught a baby lizard in Russ and Emily's house the 2nd day we were there. We couldn't believe he saw that little thing, let alone caught it! Carter is our bug boy right now. Most of the day he spends outside looking for bugs.

It's a lot of work being this cute. Sweet Hailey passed out on Auntie Ems shoulder. She loved Auntie Em which is saying a lot lately cause usually only mom will do!

Jack loved little Hailey. He was constantly poking at her and wanting to hold her. So sweet!


The waves at this beach were pretty rough. It was fun letting the waves push you up to shore and then pull you back in again!

This doesn't look that scary, but Bryan succeeded in scaring me once again(which isn't too hard to do), but any of you who know Bryan know that he thinks he is invisible and is constantly doing crazy things!
