Makin' Messes

We're making all sorts of messes at our house. We've got about 50 different things going on, and we're really good at starting another without finishing the last! Here's our front steps and sidewalk being ripped out. It was a bigger mess than we thought it would be, but luckily we have a great neighbor with a tractor that helped us out.

We got all new windows and doors. Here's Bryan installing the French Doors in the back. Stay tuned for the After pictures......that's when they get done, if ever!

Baby Animal Days

Us, along with everyone else in Logan went to Baby Animal Days today. It was super busy and you had to wait in line for everything, so we just stayed long enough to see the Baby Bears, and the Snakes. Hailey was all about the snakes. I don't know what I was thinking, letting her get this close, bad mom moment:) Carter was a little nervous around the big snake, but was willing to hold the smaller one. I on the other hand stayed as far away as possible!

Our favorite thing to do on Sunday mornings is bring the kids into our bed when they wake up and snuggle, talk and wrassle. Its moments like this that make me feel so lucky.

April Fools??

Several inches of snow on April 1st. Is this a April Fools Joke? It's not very funny! Yes, it is beautiful, but you can't tease us with beautiful spring weather and then give us this!

Hailey's 2nd Birthday Celebration!

We celebrated Hailey's 2nd Birthday this week! This little cupcake I found at Hobby Lobby the other day. It's called "The Hidden Cupcake". I thought it would be fun to start this tradition. Every time someone in the family has a birthday, they wake up and have to go find the Hidden Cupcake and inside is a special surprise! I just filled Hailey's with Hershey Kisses and she was happy!

Hailey's new kitchen. I was super excited to give this to her, hoping that she will leave me alone to cook in my kitchen while she plays in hers!

We had family over for a BBQ and cake and ice cream.

Mom forgot to sing Happy Birthday before we cut the cake-OOPS! So we sang to a partial cake!

Bryan started a fire in the backyard so everyone could go enjoy some warmth. Izzy looks so cute in her little pose!

Happy Birthday Bryan!!

Bryan turned the big 3-1 yesterday. Of course he "worked" most the day. If you want to call it work. Mark got him some kind of fancy remote control car that goes faster than my car, so apparently they played with it in the parking lot most of the day. Oh what a hard life! :)

When he came home I made him dinner and had a couple presents for him, and the kids made him the sweetest pictures.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary a couple weeks ago. Bryan got me some beautiful flowers and the sweetest card ever. Bryan had a convention to attend in Vegas a couple weeks after our anniversary so we were able to get away for a couple days. Thanks to our parents for watching the kids! I am so glad that I married Bryan. Even after ten years, he is always complimenting me, and makes me feel so loved. He is the greatest dad ever, and I love him so much!
We were bad picture takers in Vegas, and didn't get too many, but we had a good time. The only one that we took of us together didn't turn out, so here's a couple of me. We spent a lot of time just wandering around all the hotels and checking them out. It was nice to come and go as we pleased and not have to chase around kids for a change!
