A Moment of Silence Please for the OLD MAN who turned THIRTY on Sunday! The sad thing is that I am right behind him! 6 months to the day! That's okay, he will always be older!

Bryan's cousin Paul and Aunt Judy took us all to Famous Daves for dinner. It was fun to catch up with them and eat some good food!

Carter's 5th Birthday Continued.....

Bryan is good at many things, but one of those things is NOT computers! I swear every time he touches the computer, something goes wrong! Needless to say, our computer is not working so we have had to resort to our old laptop. So I am trying to figure everything out on it, since I as well am not computer savy! All of my pictures are on the other computer, so that is my excuse for the lack of posts! Anyways, Carter had a great birthday! We had 3 seperate little parties for him. The above is at my brothers house. My nephew Ty's birthday is the day before Carters, so we usually do a combined party. Glen and Cami were gracious enough to do dinner for us all, and we did a treasure hunt and picture frame crafts for the boys.

Bryans family came over on Sunday and we did dinner and cake with them also. Brookelyn sat and read to Carter for like an hour. It was so cute, I had to get a picture. Carter sat quietly and listened for as long as she was willing to read! He just loves books, and Brookelyn is so nice to play with him every time she comes.

Bryan picked out a model engine to build with Carter for his birthday. I guess to all the boys out there, this was exciting, and Carter loved it. That's all the matters right! I had more pictures uploaded, but seriously this computer hates me today, so I will have to just post what I have!

Carter's 5th Birthday Party

We had Carter's first "friend" birthday party this year. He wanted a dinosaur theme again, which we had last year, so it was easy because we already had most of the games! They played "Dinosaur Bean Bag Toss", "Pin the Horn on the Triceratops", did a "Dinosaur Loot Hunt", and did a craft. It went pretty well, and there were no melt downs this year! Yay!

Lovin Dad

I know I post a lot with Bryan and the kids, but I just love watching them! Bryan comes home for lunch most of the days, and the kids look forward to him coming home even if its just for a couple minutes. Hailey of course likes dads name tag, and Carter on his good days :) has lots of hugs for him. Bryan is such a good dad and I just love watching him interact and play with the kids. I am so blessed to have such a great husband and father for my kids!

PeEk-A-boO is MasTerEd

So, the first time that I noticed Hailey was starting to figure out peek-a-boo was a couple weeks ago with my dad when she grabbed a newspaper and put it in front of her face. Since then she has mastered it pretty well and will grab whatever she can find to play. Its sooo cute! A lot of the time she will stick out her tongue as she reveals her face!

Carter's Funny Bedtime Routine

Is There A Little Guy There?

Carter does this funny thing every night at bedtime. He takes ALL of his blankets and puts them around him forming a wall. This is so the Monsters cannot get him while he's sleeping. When Bryan and I go to give him a kiss and hug, he is very particular about how we do it. We cannot touch any of the blankets or this will ruin the wall. We have now learned this so we can spare the Meltdown.

Our View

This is kind of foggy because it is taken through our window, but this is our view pretty much all winter long. We have a chestnut tree, and we leave the chestnuts on the ground in the fall because the deer love them. Its kinda cool to wake up and see 10 deer in your yard. As I am typing they are actually walking right next to my basement window by me. Now they're off to find food in someone elses backyard!
